For those of you who are new to my website, I write about interior design for homeowners and share industry news with other designers, architects, contractors, and other industry professionals. I report from design conventions and visits with manufacturers to bring you the latest offerings and trends. I share with you a fascination with food, culinary arts, and the steps it takes to create a “perfect” kitchen, along with my mission to let everyone know that kitchens and baths are about design AND safety.
For homeowners, my goal is to inform, inspire, and help those who are overwhelmed with the ever-increasing choices of home design customization. If you have kitchen remodeling in your plans, I wrote my own guidebook for avoiding common kitchen design mistakes, Kelly’s Kitchen Sync, which you can find on my book page and/or head over to the online book sellers to read the first few chapters. Kelly’s Kitchen Savvy came out summer 2014 to help those with partial kitchen remodels.
